Resource Speakers:
Mario J. Ramirez is an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in Adobe Photoshop. He is an AutoCAD
instructor at various training centers and does consulting work for companies requiring programming, customization
and training in AutoCAD 2000, 3D Studio Animation and MS Excel. Prior to this, he was the CAD training supervisor
and a senior instructor at MagnaCAD's AutoCAD Training Center. (MagnaCAD is the local distributor for Autodesk until
1994). It was during his stint at MagnaCAD when he had the opportunity to train at Autodesk in Sausalito, USA.
Michael R. Martinez ("Mike") is a Technical Support Engineer for Adobe Customer Support Center,
which serves the entire Asia-Pacific region. He is an Adobe Certified Expert in both InDesign and PageMaker, and
is proficient in a number of other digital arts applications, including Dreamweaver and Photoshop. Mike also has
considerable design experience, having done layouts for PROCON Printers and Publishers. He also assisted in the
design and layout of marketing collaterals for International Correspondence Schools, before striking out on his
own as a freelance graphic artist and Web designer. Additionally, Mike is proficient in a number of Web-related
languages and technologies, HTML, JAVA and JAVAScript, and ASP.
Ige Ramos has been an independent graphic designer for more than 20 years, working mostly on
book and publication design. Working under his trademark, Tomato Graphics, he earned numerous honors and awards at
home and abroad. Prior to Tomato Graphics, he worked as a designer for Chiye, Tribal Genius, Levi's Strauss Far East,
Ballet Philippines and Tanghalang Pilipino. He holds the distinction of being one of five Filipino graphic designers featured
in the 25 Graphic Designers of South East Asia. He is a former President of IdN Club Philippines.
Antonio C. Bucu ("Tony"), an electrical engineer by education (Mapua Institute of Technology), pursued
a career in graphic design. From a layout artist for Graphic Solutions (1993) and a Finalizer for Taipan Bozell Advertising
(1994-95), he later co-established (1995) Powerhaus Unlimited and served as its Creative Director until 1998. He is currently a
free lance graphic designer/writer. He is also the production manager of Kestrel Studios and creative consultant to Southern Glory
International Garments. His special skills include character illustration and development (for comic books and other publications),
writing, and system software diagnostics and troubleshooting (Macintosh platform).
Ronnie Millevo is a professional Multimedia Lecturer and Professor at the De La Salle University's College of
St. Benilde and St. Scholastica's College manila. He teaches computer graphic courses, such as, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Image
Ready, Macromedia Flash, Director and Dreamweaver. He is a practicing multimedia specialist and a fine arts practitioner.
He conducts lectures in digital imaging, web publishing, audio-video editing, desktop publishing, 2D animation and CD Rom
interactive authoring for corporate functions.
