Health and Organic Show slated November 3-5 at SM Megatrade Hall
Companies on health products, tools and equipment, food and drinks,
organic-produced and organically-prepared products, services, seminar and
lectures on health awareness, free clinics and consultations, sporting
events, alternative lifestyles and exercises will be the features and
highlights of this year's 'Health & Organic Show 2001' (2nd Edition) slated
on November 3-5, 2001 at SM Megatrade Hall, Mandaluyong City, Philippines.
This event will present over 75 booths and participating companies
showcasing wide array of products for alternative medicine (distributors of
biomagnetics, ionizers, humidifiers, air purifiers, rejuvenators,
aromatisers, soap, processed juices, drinks, food), alternative
practitioners - chiropractors, centers fo alternative/holistic health,
aromatherapy, reflexology, BFAD/DOH approved medicines, extract and herbal,

Last year's trade visitors showed more than 12,000 traffic in 4-straight
days with various activities lined-up ranging from free clinics and
consultations, seminar and lectures on diabetes, preventive medicine,
cancer treatment, aromatherapy, weight loss programs, smart nutrition, sex
and pregnancy, menopause, and many more. A good lined-up of health topics
is being conceptualized for this year's event.
Health & Organic Show is designed to promote health awareness, education,
and alternative/preventive approach proper health maintenance and health
lifestyle. Encouraged by overwhelming response in last year's show, Ruth
Luntao, Project Manager said that there is really a need to stage this kind
of trade show or event to propagate healthy lifestyle amongst Filipinos
especially to those who do not have easy access to proper health,
nutrition, and treatment.
