PROGRAM
COMPONENT:
Examines various models for utilizing at least 12 procurement and AP/AR related ANSI x!@ and equivalent EDIFACT, HTML, and XML/ebXML documents with tiers 1,2 and 3 trading partners across domestic, international, and trading block boundaries. Representative applications include, but not limited, to: industry-wide exchanges and auctions, JIT, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), Evaluated Receipt Settlement (ERS), Open Buying on the Internet (OBI), Utilities, and, Automated Replenishment and closed-loop Supply Chain, streaming video and other bandwith intensive applications.
Examines various models for utilizing close to 100 logistics related ANSI X12 and equivalent EDIFACT messages, web HTML and XML/ebXML documents that support the provisioning, movement of products and services through supply chain. Representative applications include, but not limited, to: 3PL, warehouses, fulfillment centers, containers, port authorities, trucking, rail, ocean, air freight, freight forwarding, packaging, insurance, financial, postal services, customs, EPA, DEA, and othe regulatory agencies.
Examines various models for utilizing at least 10 financial related ANSI X12 and equivalent EDIFACT messages, HTML and XML/ebXML documents with tiers 1,2, and 3 trading partners. Representative applications include, but not limited, to: bill presentment, human resources, healthcare, JIT, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), Evaluated Receipt Settlement (ERS), OBI, Utilities, Taxation, Automated Replenishment and closed-loop Supply Chain, streaming video an dother bandwith intensive applications.
Lecture and audit best practices based on case studies and models developed by each work group develop a program auditing, strategy, methodology, control, security, legal, disaster recovery, business resumption, and others. Minimum categories for case studies are: process improvement opportunities, status quo, ticking timebombs, and failures.
Programs Lecture on program and project management best practices; and, based on case studies and models developed by each work group develop a program/project plan that will include, but not limited, to: objectives, budgets, sponsorship, steering committee, organization, training, financing, protocols, piloting, full production roll out, information gathering, integrating various technologies (HTML, XML/ebXML, EDI, OBI, and others), business process re-engineering, and others.
